Off the Beaten Track: Martins Bay
18th December, 2014This little bay is located on the East coast of Barbados in the parish of St. John. It is a quaint fishing village which boasts rugged authenticity and of course views which will leave you believing it is all a dream! As you drive down the hill to Martins Bay you will be greeted with the fresh salt air smell and wind in your hair. The rugged, rocky nature of the bay is great for fishermen and of course the rock formations create little pools which are perfect for soaking in!
We recommend that you stop a Bay Tavern a local rum shop/restaurant and order the pickled shrimp and snapper! If you do make your way down to Martins Bay, you can check out Bath Beach and Conset Bay as those are the neighbouring bays along that coastline!
