Discover: The Barbados Pool

Located along the East Coast of Barbados, just after Cattlewash, maybe 20-30 feet after Round Rock is the Barbados Pool. What the heck is that right? Well, the Barbados pool is a rock pool located in the reef along the East Coast. It's shape is almost identical of that to Barbados. At low tide, when all the reef around it is dry, the Barbados pool sits 4 feet deep with water and is absolutely perfect for beating that serious East Coast heat. Busy with reef fish buzzing beneath the surface, the Barbados pool is full of life.

Please note, the Barbados pool itself is safe however, do not by any means go swimming in the waters beyond the Barbados Pool as these are fierce and dangerous! Additionally, there are a few cobblers in the reef, so again be cautious or wear reef shoes when going for a swim.
