What's Happening: Barbados Events December 2012

Here we are, into the Christmas season already. Take a look below into the different events happening in Barbados this month!

Barbados December Event 1. Run Barbados 2012- This event is sponsored by the Barbados Tourism Authority and will be held on the 7th, 8th and 9th of December. This year the event will feature a 5K, 10K and Half marathon. Friday December 7th will be the fun mile from St Lawrence Gap at 10PM, Saturday the 8th will be the Powerade Run Barbados 10K at 4:30PM and the Schools 3K from the Baystreet Esplanade at 4:35PM and on Sunday 9th December will be the Scotiabank Run Barbados Half Marathon at 5AM and the 5K is at 5:15AM from Bay Street Esplanade. Barbados December Event 2. Harrisons Cave Eco Adventure Tour- This is a tour you cannot miss- visitors will get up close and personal with all the caves natural formations whilst exploring the trails, water formations and natural passages. The Eco- Adventure tour at Harrison's Cave will be held on the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th of December and tours start at 9:00AM and 12:00PM. Barbados December Event 3. Carols By Candlelight- It is always a joy to come together at Illaro Court for the Carols By Candlelight event which will be held on the 9th December starting at 5:00PM. Ensure to get there early so you can get a great spot with full view of the stage and the complete grounds. The event is full of performances whether it be acting, drama or music and there are drinks and food on sale throughout the event. Don't forget to bring a present for the less fortunate! 

Barbados December Event 4. The Snow Ball- This is the 4th Annual Christmas event for Snow Ball. Come enjoy a festive night out at Kendal Sporting on the 8th December from 9PM. There will be champagne and shots for sale along with great giveaways! Remember to bring a gift to put under the Christmas tree for a girl or boy with the ages of 4yrs -18yrs. Tickets are on sale at iShop at Sheraton, Electric Avenue at Coconut Walk hastings and SmartStore in Limgrove. Tcikets are $150.00 inclusive of premium drinks. Barbados December Event 5. Christmas in the Courtyard- This is a free sunset concert hosted by Frank Collymore Hall and Central Bank of Barbados. This event will be held on the 12th December starting at 6:15PM and the admission is FREE! So get down to The Cathedral Courtyard, Central Bank of Barbados, Spry St., Bridgetown for some Christmas Cheer! 

Barbados December Event 6. Northern Lights at Lamberts Plantation- Come celebrate and ring in the New Year at Lamberts Plantation, St. Lucy on the 31st December from 9:00PM. DJ's will be playing the best of dubstep, pop, techno, dance and house. It is an all inclusive event for $200 BBD. Box Office: CS Pharmacy. Barbados December Event 7.St. Winifred's School Pantomime: Alice in Wonderland- This popular and entertaining pantomime runs right through December. The pantomime is always a exceptional and beautifully organized show full of Barbadian young talent - box offices are at Supercentre Big B - Mon, Wed and Fri between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm and Supercentre Warrens - Tues, Thurs and Sat between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
