What's Happening: Barbados Events October 2012

Barbados October Event 1. Love Comes First Fundraising Dance- This event is being held on the 6th October at Harbour Lights starting at 8:00 PM. Dress in your brightest neon colours and get ready for performances by Philip 7, Jan and the backup band and DJ Ozzy the Wizard along with a fully stocked bar and many door prizes. The donation for this event is $50.00 and all proceeds go towards differently-abled kids. To get your tickets for this great event go to A & B Music Supplies in Sheraton Centre!  

Barbados October Event 2. Tour of the Garrison Historic Area- This event will be held at the recently recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. You travel though the area by air conditioned bus with knowledgeable multi-lingual tour guides at your side. The tour will stop at George Washington House, The National Armoury, The Barbados Museum Gift Shop, the changing of Sentry and finally St. Ann Fort where you will be treated to beverages and snacks. Barbados October Event 3. Bridgetown Barbados Fashion Week- BB Fashion Week will be held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre from the 25th-28th October with four days of both regional and international fashion designers coming together to showcase their works of art. Barbados October Event 4. Caribbean Food and Beverage Expo 2012- This event will be held at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre from the 5th-7th October from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. There will be various stalls and vendor displays such as baking stalls, cookbook stalls, live cooking demonstrations, mixologists and barristas, demonstrations of cooking utensils and safety along with much more! Barbados October Event 5. Richard Stoute Teen Talent Contest Finals- This will be the 36th Annual Richard Stoute Teen Talent Show and will be held at the Plantation Theatre on the 28th October starting at 7:00 PM. There will be 3 age categories for the final, 6-12 yrs, 13-21 yrs and 21 yrs and over. The admission for the event is $20 BBD advance tickets, $25 BBD at the door and $10 BBD for children.
