What's Happening: Barbados Events April 2017
5th April, 2017Barbados Event 1- BIBA Charity Fundraiser (An Evening with the Masters) - An elegant cocktail event with a charitable twist! Show your support to the BIBA Charity Eunice Gibson Polyclinic Warrens Appeal, this Friday April 7th from 7 pm to 9 pm. The art exhibition will feature beautiful designs from local artists such as David Alleyne, Hillary Armstrong, Fielding Babb just to name a few. Join us at the Mercedes Benz Showroom Warrens, minimum donations are $150 BDS ( includes wine and canapes).
Barbados Event 2- Davis Cup Tennis (Barbados vs Guatemala) – The competition is on this weekend April 7th to 9th! Watch the Barbados tennis team take on the Guatemalan team, in the fight for The Davis Cup at The National Tennis Center, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael! Admission is adults $25 BDS, juniors $10 and Clubhouse VIP $120 BDS.
Barbados Event 3- Gun Hill by Moonlight- (Cocktail Party) This is your opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunset with one of Barbados' most iconic views, while mingling and enjoying delicious wine and finger foods. Start time is 5:30 pm sharp! So be sure to be on time, you don’t want to miss the bugler and the ceremonial lowering of the flag at sunset! Barbados National Trust Members are $30 BDS, BARP members $35 BDS and general admission is $40 BDS. We look forward to seeing you there on Tuesday April 11th!
Barbados Event 4- Laff It Off 2017 (We Like It So) - Get ready to laugh until you’re close to tears with the 32nd edition of Laff It Off! This year’s cast includes the hilarious Angelo Lascelles, Ishiaka McNiel, Janine White and many more! The event will be held at The Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Center on Saturday 15th April at 8 pm sharp, admission is $40 BDS.
Barbados Event 5- Oistins Fish Festival! Celebrate Barbadian culture and folklore at the annual Oistin's Fish Festival. Join in on the competitions, enjoy the music, the food and vibrant culture all weekend long! The festival runs from April 15th to 17th and admission is absolutely free!
Barbados Event 6. Pirates Cove- Start the weekend off right with the great music, food and drinks! Check out Pirates Cove every Thursday from 6pm for karaoke and every Friday night for their afterwork lime, wings and beer specials available!
