What's Happening: Barbados Events December 2016

Barbados Event 1. Frame and Art Anonymous Charity Art Show- Show your support to talented artists and a charitable cause all at one great event! The annual Charity Show, will be held on Friday December 9th at the Frame and Art Co. gallery in Millhouse Complex, Canewood St. Michael. The event will feature over 100 original paintings to be sold anonymously, the name of the artist will only be revealed after a piece has been purchased. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Nature Fun Ranch, St. Andrew.

Barbados Event 2. Carols by Candlelight- The Rotary Club of Barbados presents the 21st edition of Carols by Candlelight on the grounds of the beautiful Illaro Court. Ring in the festive season to the sweet melodies of Christmas tunes performed by popular local artists. Carols by Candlelight is the place to be on December 11th at 5:30 pm, don’t forget to bring a wrapped and labeled gift for a less fortunate child (infant to 16 years old). Tickets are $40 BDS for adult and $40 BDS for 2 children under the age of 12.  

Barbados Event 3. St. Winifred's Annual Pantomime (Shrek)- The highly anticipated St Winifred’s School Pantomime is back again and this year the show features the adventurous and exciting tales of the popular Dream Works animation Shrek! Come out and show your support on Friday December 16th at 7pm, as these young rising stars showcase their amazing talents on stage. The show will be held at St. Winifred's School Hall, Pine Gardens, St. Michael, tickets are $55 BDS and can be purchased from Massy Warrens and Worthing.

Barbados Event 4. Bus-A-Move Dance Fitness Bus Tour- Explore Barbados’ East coast in a fun and unique way aboard the #1 Bajan Open Bus! Grab your party gear and get ready to dance to the sweet sounds of soca as you enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of Barbados! Clear your schedule on Sunday December 18th from 1:30 pm. Meeting place The Alexandra School, St. Peter and tickets are $60 BDS registration and drinks included! Purchase your tickets here.

Barbados Event 5. Old Year's Night Masquerade at The Beach House- Naughty or nice? Come decked out in your best for a night of entertainment, elegance and fun on Saturday December 31at at 7pm! Enjoy champagne reception and seaside dinner, midnight countdown and beautiful fireworks to ring in the new year right. Tickets are $475 BDS and children under 12 $100 BDS masks included. Barbados Event 6. Pirates Cove- Start the weekend off right with the great music, food and drinks! Check out Pirates Cove every Thursday from 6pm for karaoke and every Friday night for their afterwork lime, wings and beer specials available!
