Cooking live with Anne Burrell at the Barbados Food Wine and Rum Festival 2014

Anne Burrell's live cooking demo was full of fun, laughter and of course great cooking tips! With her signature spiky blonde hair, she was full of energy, enthusiasm and ready to show the audience how to prepare a simple but tasty dish. She rustled up a panko crusted pork chop, with a fresh green salad and pickled vegetables to top it off! Her cooking demo was very energetic and interactive, cooking like a rockstar as she normally does!

A few tips she swears by are using extra virgin olive oil in cooking, whether in your salads and for shallow frying as this type of olive oil is the purest and in her opinion the tastiest! She stressed that you must salt your food - "if you don't use salt then you will NEVER be a good cook!"

I mean how could you not listen to this culinary star who has worked in top restaurants in New York and has two best selling cookbooks!
