Barefoot on the Beach: Bath Beach
10th November, 2014Located on the East Coast, more towards to Southern end, in the parish of St. John, is the very charming beach called Bath. Usually the East Coast is very rough, with strong currents and undertows, however Bath beach is one of the safest with its large bordering reef. You can relax in the water's edge, however you must still be wary and not swim past or over the reef due to unexpected currents that may develop.
Sprinkled with delightful and quaint chattel beach houses; Bath is frequented by mainly locals and the occasional travelers. The first sight of the beach can be seen from the hill top where you are greeted with spectacular scenes. Bath Beach is lined with both coconut and Casuarina trees, which provide for many shady areas to set up your picnic and beach chairs. There is a play park for children as well as a large car park and public bathrooms.
