Barefoot on the Beach: Inch Marlow
16th September, 2014Located on the South Coast of Barbados, in the parish of Christ Church is a lovely collection of bays named Inch Marlow. A surfer's paradise it is often referred to; as there are usually consistent waves throughout the year, particularly suitable for beginner surfers. Almost daily the seas are dotted with these said surfers as board rentals and lessons are readily available in the surrounding area.
Scattered around the bays are rock pools which children will have great fun playing in and exploring. The family can enjoy fishing from the rocks or have a picnic on a sand patch. Some of the bays are more suitable for swimming while others can have strong undercurrents, therefore it is always a good idea to ask a local where is the best and safest area for you to swim along Inch Marlow!
