What's Happening: Barbados Events July 2014

Who has the festival fever?  Well, as the Crop Over Season in Barbados is finally approaching, there are endless activities in store for you! Check out some July Events happening on the island:

Barbados July Event #1 Crop over festival-Calypso Tent- De Big Show Judging Night- This is held at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium Start time: 8:00 p.m. Admission: Bds $30.00

Barbados July Event # 2 A tour of Garrison Historic Area- The Barbados Garrison Historical Consortium Inc. presents a guided tour of the Garrison Historic Area. Start time: 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

Barbados July Event # 3 Oistins Fish Fry- Oistins – Every weekend, starting from Friday, The admission is free!  The venue is Oistins, Christ Church.

Barbados July Event # 4 Crop over Festival - Visual Arts Exhibition- The exhibition begins from the 7^th – 31^st July. The starting time is 10:00p.m until 6:00 p.m. The admission is free. The venue: Grand Salle, Central Bank, Church Village, Bridgetown.

Barbados July Event #5 – Harrisons Cave Walk-In Tour. Experience the Cave on foot. The tours are from the 5^th to 26^th.The start time at 4:00 pm and 4:30. Reservations only. For further information contact: 417-3700.

Barbados July Event #6- Jammin Catamaran Twilight Cruise- Enjoy a 4 hour night cruise, Every Wednesday of this month. The venue is Cavan’s Lane, Bridgetown. Call 422-1152 to check availability or you can send an email to info@jammincats.com

Barbados July Event #7   Golden Sands Rum and Souse- Relax and enjoy delicious Pudding and Souse and other mouthwatering delicacies with Barbados’ finest rum of Mount Gay Rum Cocktails. From 5^th until 26^th .Starting time 10:00 a.m. The venue is Golden Sands Hotel, Maxwell Christ Church.

Barbados July Event #8 Caribbean Premier League - T/20 Cricket – For all cricket lovers. This is a group stage match with Barbados Tridents vs Antigua Hawksbills. The venue is the Kensington Oval, Fontabelle, St. Michael.

Barbados July Event #9 A Culinary Journey in Bajan Cuisine at the Savannah. Come and be introduced to delicious Bajan dishes beyond your imagination. Every Sunday of this month the 6^th until 27^th of the month from 12:00 p: m until 3:00 p.m. The venue is Savannah Hotel Christ Church. For reservations call 228-3800.

Barbados July Event #10 Barbados Museum Ole Time Excursion- The tour route rotates between North and South exploring the history of Barbados from the 19^th and 27^th of this month. For more information please contact 427-0201 to confirm tour and for insight on the route.

Barbados July Event #11- Saturday Night Beach BBQ with Steel Pan at Ocean 2. Be entertained by the Live Steel Pan Music and BBQ.BBQ from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.Steel Pan from 7:00 pm.Reservations required. Call 418-1200.The venue is Ocean 2 Hotel & Resort, Dover, St. Lawrence Gap Christ Church.

Barbados July Event #12 - Brighton Farmer’s Market and Country Lime-Every Saturday from 5^thuntil 26^th of this month. Starting time is 6:15 a.m.  The admission is free. The venue is Brighton Plantation, St. George.
