Restaurant Review: Gospel Breakfast at The Crane Resort
24th July, 2013Our last day arrived and it was time to try the raved about Gospel Breakfast at The Crane Residential Resort. Now I am often wary about buffet breakfasts as they are prepared for the masses and usually when meals are for the masses, lets face it, they are not that tasty. However, the breakfast at The Crane Residential Resort was an exceptionally pleasant surprise. Although the food was produced for a large quantity of people as opposed to individually it was fresh and just what you crave on a Sunday morning in Barbados.
On the menu, scrambled eggs, pancakes, pork sausages, baked beans, boiled eggs, bacon, Bajan fish cakes, Barbadian bakes, an assortment of fruit juices as well as fresh fruit. In addition to a selection of freshly baked pastries, there is also an omelet station where you can pick and choose precisely what you want in your omelet.
Everything at the breakfast was wonderful, from the food to the cheery gospel choir to the fabulous views of The Crane Beach. Even if you are not a guest at the resort we do suggest making a reservation and enjoying all that comes with it!
