What's Happening: Barbados Events December 2013

Barbados December Event  #1: Christmas in the Courtyard:  On the 4^th December at 6.15PM, in the Cathedral Courtyard, Central Bank of Barbados, Spry St., Bridgetown, Christmas in the Courtyard is one in the series of free sunset concerts presented by the Frank Collymore Hall and the Central Bank of Barbados.

Barbados December Event # 2: Run Barbados Series 2013 – This year Run Barbados features a 5K, 10K, and half marathon events as well as the BTA’s final run. The schedule is as follows: Fri Dec 06 - 10:00 AM

Barbados December Event # 3 : Carols at The Abbey - On the 22nd December from 4.00 PM - 6.00 PM enjoy carols and Christmas entertainment in the magical setting of the 15th century St. Nicholas Abbey. Admission is as follows: Adults $25 BBD and Children $5 BBD, all monetary proceeds will be donated to the QEH pediatric ward. Barbados December Event  # 4: Pan, Pork and Parang -The Trinidad & Tobago Association of Barbados call everyone to enjoy its annual Pan, Pork and Parang, a brunch styled Christmas celebration. This year the featured performer is the living legend and pioneer of parang; CRAZY. The fabulous event will be held at The Main Guard, Garrison from 11.00 AM-3.00 PM on Sunday 8^th December.

Barbados December  Event #5: Dinner with George - On the 16^th, 23^rd, and 30^th December you are invited to dine like how George Washington did in 1751. 

A scrumptious 5 course 18th century dinner will be enjoyed in the very dining room of the house that George Washington spent 6 weeks of his life, when just 19 years old.
 Step into the past as you enter the grounds. Chat with George while eating at the long dining table, in a room lit only by candles.  Attended by staff in period dress with beautiful music played by musicians in the entrance hall, the atmosphere is completed by the sight and sound of a horse in the courtyard.
 With places at the table for just 30 guests, this event occurs every Monday. Wine, rum and local juices are included and served throughout the evening. A selection of fine champagnes are available for an additional cost.

Barbados December  Event # 6: Boxing Day at the Races - How wonderful would it be to enjoy boxing day viewing an exciting day of thoroughbred horse racing at the historic Garrison Savannah!
