Festival Fever: Kiddies Kadooment

Who has the Festival Fever? I know we at Loop Barbados do. It's July and in a couple of weeks it will be Grand Kadooment! But first, The Junior Kadooment Parade (Kiddies Kadooment) takes place on 26th July 2014 at the National Stadium,Waterford, St.Michael at 9:00 a.m. Kiddies Kadooment is the run-up to Barbados Crop Over Festival and one of the family- oriented events . Band designers showcase their skills with some of the most colourful and creative costumes within different themes. The children ages 8-18 get a chance to hit the streets in grand style. The little ones masquerade before the judges as they decorate the stage with their costumes and various dances. Hundreds of spectators make they way down to the National Stadium and brave any weather conditions in Barbados that day to get a live show and be entertained by the parade.
