There is nothing like an authentic home cooked meal, the feeling of warmth and love that goes into every little bite is absolutely unmatched by anything else. It’s this genuine flavour we all hope to experience while trying foods from around the world. Well we here at Loop Barbados are going to tell you just where to get delicious Bajan food plus so much more! Take your cooking skills and taste buds on a tropical tour of Barbados with Cooking with the Perry’s.
Cooking with the Perry’s is a residential cooking class and the first of its kind in Barbados. The experience seeks to expose visitors to two of Barbados' greatest resources - our cultural heritage and our people. It is a unique opportunity for visitors and expatriates to interact on a personal level with Barbadian nationals, in a safe and fun environment while learning to prepare some of Barbados’ best culinary delights.
Located on the West coast of the island, Cooking with the Perry’s offers visitors a choice of three packages, with each experience being personalized to fit the needs of every group. Guests are giving the opportunity to learn how to prepare Barbadian specialties such as cou cou and flying fish, pudding and souse, Bajan seasoning and rum punch among so much more! Each guest leaves with a mini recipe book of the dishes they created, an amazing authentic Barbadian experience and a gift pack of "must haves" for Bajan cooking.
