Off the Beaten track: Morgan Lewis Beach

23rd September, 2016

A perfect escape from reality. This absolutely untouched and isolated beach is the perfect place to become one with nature. Lay back on the white sandy beach, enjoy the cool breezes and the sound of the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean as they crash against the inviting shore line. This little slice of heaven is almost always completely deserted and its unusual location, makes it definitely  off the beaten track. Driving along the north-east coast of the island you will stumble upon a very unassuming track that would peek the interest of any adventure seeker. This windy track will take you on a little off road trek, leading you right onto the beautiful wide span shore of Morgan Lewis Beach. It’s the perfect spot for taking pictures and enjoying a long romantic walk or picnic on the shore however, swimming is not advised as the strong currents are quite dangerous and there are no life guard posts in this area. We recommend you grab a few friends, a picnic basket and a couple local beers and spend an entire day exploring the wonders of Morgan Lewis Beach, you won’t be disappointed!
