Barefoot on the Beach: Tropicana Beach
19th August, 2013Located in St. James, on the West coast of Barbados, the calm, piercing turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and pristine white sand of Tropicana Beach (sometimes called St. Alban's Beach) makes it the perfect beach to visit. With the sea populated with locals and visitors soaking in the salt water, Stand Up Paddlers, Boaters and Yachters, and the occasional jet ski and banana boat zooming by, it is evident that everyone adores Tropicana Beach. Complete with people picnicking, playing paddle racket and perhaps pouring a drink on the beach, Tropicana is a picture-perfect paradise in itself. Adding quaint character to the beach, stands the old St. Alban's Anglican Church.
Tropicana Beach is proof that happiness does come from the simple pleasures in life. Whether you want to soak in the morning or afternoon sun rays, or take a calm walk to have the best view of the stunning sunset, Tropicana Beach is perfect any time of the day!
