Summer has begun and the Crop Over festivities are in full swing! We can’t wait to dance and celebrate with you. Here are the seasons most popular events! So get ready to have a blast with the top Crop Over Events for July!

 

Barbados Event 1. Pan Fusion Jazz and Steel Pan Concert: Dance the night away with some of the biggest names in jazz and pan around the world. Enjoy performances by Arturo Tappin Band, Xavier Strings and Pannist Mikhail Giovanni, Brazilian vocalist Ana Costa and Newton Playboyz Steel Orchestra. There will also be performances by popular calypsonians; Grynner and Lil Rick. The event will be held at Ilaro Court on July 8th at 8pm. Admission is General $50.00 BDS, Lawn Seating $75.00 BDS and VIP All-Inclusive $230.00 BDS.

 

Barbados Event 2. Pan Pun De Sand:  It’s the 50th ”Paniversary” of Pan Pun De Sand! It’s four times the steel, four times the soca and four times the sweetness. Enjoy performances by local and regional steel pan orchestras and performances by popular local acts. It will be a night to remember! The event will be held on July 10th at Brandons Beach, Spring Garden from 3pm admission is absolutely free!

 

Barbados Event 3. Soca on the Hill:  One of the most anticipated Crop over events on the calendar! Where calypso music, festivity and Caribbean flavour all come together to create an explosive event! Performances by local and regional soca acts and a plethora of prizes and surprises, this one is not to be missed! Get your tickets for July 17th at the Farley Hill National Park from 12pm - 9 pm. Tickets are General $60.00 BDS or $75.00 BDS and Premium All-Inclusive $250.00 BDS.

 

Barbados Event 4. Battle Soca Royale: The battle for the Sweet Soca Monarch and Party Monarch title for 2016 is on! This massive event promises a 10 hour non stop partying experience of a life time! The event will be held at Bushy Park St, Philip on July 24th tickets are $25 BDS adults and $10 BDS children.

 

Barbados Event 5. Foreday Morning Jam: A massive early morning street party with 7 hours of non stop jamming! Costumes, colours, paint, powder and non stop music and drinks! This is a once in a lifetime carnival J’ouvert experience so don’t miss out. The event will take place on July 29th. Watching the activities from the road side is absolutely free, but we recommend you get in on the fun by joining a foreday band for the full Barbadian J’ouvert experience!

 

Barbados Event 6. Bridgetown Market: This is a huge five-day street fair filled with vendors lining the streets, selling local crafts, foods and clothing among other things. It’s a great event to explore Barbadian culture while experiencing local street food and and soca music. The market located along the Spring Garden Highway and is open between July 29th to August 2nd, it is absolutely free to all.

 

Barbados Event 7. Pirates Cove: There is nothing like a lime to start your weekend of activities off right! Check out Pirates Cove every Thursday from 6pm for karaoke and every Friday night for their after work lime, wings and beer specials available!
