Oh how time flies, we are already in 2015! Starting off a New Year with much exciting events to attend. Have a look below to see what's happening in Barbados this month!

Barbados January Event 1. St. Peters Flower Show and Garden Festival: The rector and members of St Peters Paris Church present to the public, Nature's Bounty, a flower show and garden festival. The event will be held from the 9th-13th January at St. Peter's Parish Church located in Speightstown. For more information on this event, please call 246-422-3599.

Barbados January Event 2. Tenth Annual Barbados Music Awards: This red carpet affair honours Barbadian Music Artists for their contributions and talents from the previous year. There will be performances from Kirk Brown and much more! This event will be held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on the 11th January starting at 8PM. Early Bird general tickets are $50 BBD and red carpet tickets are $125 BBD. Box offices are as follows: Rubis Wildey; Digital Plus, Lanterns Mall; Sweet Little things, City Centre Mall; Shell, Black Rock.

Barbados January Event 3. Mount Gay Rum Round Barbados Regatta 2015: This sailing event can be seen around the island and starts on the 16th January through to the 24th January. You can choose a spot at the Barbados Cruising Club for viewing and for more information please see their website.

Barbados January Event 4. Honey Jazz Concert Barbados 2015: This event is a fundraiser for the Honey Jam developmental initiative in support of Barbadian artists. This event will be held on the 24th January at Frank Collymore Hall starting at 8PM (doors open at 7PM) and admission is $50 BBD. Don't miss this chance to come out and enjoy the talent of the upcoming female Barbadian musicians. For more information see their website.

Barbados January Event 5. Naniki Jazz Festival: This year the Naniki Jazz Festival will have 3 main shows. On Thursday 15th January there will be "Jazz in the City" held at Frank Collymore Hall from 8:00 pm with Debbie Reifer and ELLA, and featuring Denise Jannah. On Saturday 17th January there will be "Echoes of the Caribbean" which will be held at Holders House from 7:30 pm featuring Maxi Priest. On Sunday 18th January there will be "Cooler Fusion in the Hills" held at Naniki Amphitheatre from 1:00 pm featuring Nikita and C4, Biggie Irie and David Rudder. Admission is General - $80.00 BBD and VIP - $250.00 BBD.
