Barbados January Events 2013

Here we are- January 2013! If you are with us, basking in the Barbados sunshine for the New Year then take a look at what's happening this month!

Barbados January Event 1. Naniki Jazz Safari- The Jazz Safari will start on the 17th January and follow through till the 28th April in different Caribbean locations. This Jazz event will be held in Barbados from the 17th- 20th January in different locations around the island with musicians from Barbados, Italy, USA and St.Lucia. Barbados January Event 2. Mount Gay Rum Round Barbados Race- This event will be held on the 21st January and is hosted by Mount Gay Rum, The Barbados Cruising Club and The Barbados Tourism Authority. The 70 mile race starts and ends in Carlisle Bay just off of the Barbados Cruising Club with the best viewing points being Holetown; Speightstown; Oistins; Accra Beach and Carlisle Bay. Barbados January Event 3. Laff It Off- This hilarious Bajan production will be held on the 26th and 27th January at the Ann Johnson Auditorium at St. Gabriel's School starting at 8:00 PM. The admission is $35.00 and be sure, you will be falling off your seat! This years cast is Peta Alleyne, Chrispin Hackett, Toni-Ann Johnson, Troy Special and Ishiaka McNeil. Barbados January Event 4. Harrisons Cave Eco Adventure Tour- This is a tour you cannot miss- visitors will get up close and personal with all the caves natural formations whilst exploring the trails, water formations and natural passages. The Eco- Adventure tour at Harrison's Cave will be held on the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st of January and tours start at 9:00AM and 12:00PM. Barbados January Event 5. Barbados Horticultural Society Annual Flower and Garden Show- This event will be held on the 26th and 27th January at the Barbados Horticultural Society, Balls Christ Church from 10 AM- 6 PM. There is a large variety of plants on sale along with other local vendors selling arts, crafts and much more. In addition, different demonstrations and presentations will be carried out on horticultural topics throughout the day.  The admission for this event is $20 BBD for adults and $7 BBd for children under 12 years old.
