Barbados December Event 1. 48th Anniversary Independence Day Parade: Since Independence this year is on a Sunday, the parade will be on the 1st December which is a bank holiday. There will be 1000 armed and unarmed groups parading at the Bridgetown Port from 8:00AM. Admission is free.

Barbados December Event 2. Classical/Pops Barbados: This event will be held on the 12th and 13th of December at Apes Hill Polo Club. The 70-piece Orchestra will be conducted by Thomas Wilkins and feature many well known names such as Irvin Mayfield, Alison Hinds from Barbados and Alison Buchanan. Tickets are $198 BBD for general and $450 BBD for VIP. For more in depth details on this event, see their website here.

Barbados December Event 3. Race of Champions Barbados: The motor sport event will be full of action and lots of fun! It will be held at the newly renovated Bushy Park Circuit on the 13th and 14th of December and will feature some of the best drivers in the world!! Drivers come from Nascar, the World Rally Championship, Le Mans and IndyCar to all battle head to head! There will even be a Barbados team competing! Barbados December Event 4. Carols at the Abbey: This Christmas caroling event will be held on the 21st December at St Nicholas Abbey from 4PM-6PM. With the Royal Barbados Police Band performing in the magical setting of The Abbey, you wont want to miss out! All proceeds go to children's charities to help the under privileged children on the island. For more information on this event, see here.

Barbados December Event 5. Saturday Lobster Dinner at Cafe Gianluca: Every Saturday night, Cafe Gianluca opens to offer you a delicious lobster dinner, not only is there delicious lobster but there are other meal options for those who don't like seafood. For reservations please call 831-6607! Please note that credit cards are not accepted.

Barbados December Event 6. St Winifred's Pantomime: This year the pantomime is the children's classic: Peter Pan! It will be running on select days up to the 22nd December! Go support the children and get in the Christmas spirit. For more information on the pantomime see here!
