April Events 2015- Whats Happening in Barbados

Another month of 2015 has come and gone! As we prepare to head into the new month, have a look at all the fun events April has in store for you here in Barbados!

Barbados April Event 1: Hilton Presents Rhythm & Spice: The Hilton Barbados invites you to join in on an all-inclusive drinks only beach party featuring Barbados’ very own Spice and Company with special guest appearances by other local artists! The events begins at 7:00PM at the Hilton Barbados Resort, Needhams Point, St. Michael. General admission is BDS$125.00, tickets available at www.ticketpal.com

Barbados April Event 2: Digicel Barbados Reggae Festival 2015, Reggae on The Hill: Reggae on the Hill will take place at Farley Hill National Park beginning at 11:00AM on Sunday 26th April 2015. Come out an enjoy reggae music and learn more about the Barbadian culture!

Barbados April Event 3: Oistins Fish Festival 2015: Oistins Fish Festival commemorates a significant event of Barbados’ colonial history, The Signing of the Charter of Oistins. Fishermen come out to compete as well as other contenders who join in just for the fun! Oistins Fish Festival takes place over the course of a few days beginning on April 1st to April 6th. There are special activities such as a Tuk Band and a Rodeo Bull as well as a children’s entertainment area complete with jumping tents, slides and more!

Barbados April Event 4: Motor Sport – Valvoline Rally: For all those rally lovers, on April 19th 2015 a special stage is organized and sponsored by Valvoline. The rally will begin in the morning. For those who are unfamiliar, the rally stage is run over sections of tarmac or loose surface roads (not public roads). Many locals pack a cooler and drive down to the location of the rally to spectate!
