Explore: Harrison Point Light House

22nd April, 2014
Harrison Point Lighthouse Barbados

Standing 85 ft tall on the most  North Westerly part of Barbados is Harrison Point Lighthouse. Built in 1925 it is one of the four light houses present in Barbados. The focal plane of the Harrison Point Lighthouse is 193 ft, flashing twice every 15 seconds. This was disconnected when the land around it was transformed into the temporary prison. Although this is no longer the case, the lighthouse was never reconnected and therefore is not currently in use.

View from the grounds of Harrison Point Light House Barbados

Even though the actual lighthouse is not currently working, the views surrounding it and the lighthouse itself is absolutely brilliant.
