Off The Beaten Track- North Point

14th May, 2014
North Point

Just as the name so obviously states, North Point is at the very most northern part of Barbados. Surrounded by crashing waves and whirlpools of white wash, it is a piece of Barbados' geographical drama you simply cannot miss! However, before you meet the cliffs, you must make your way through winding and eerie tracks of overgrown grass fields, passing an abandoned hotel along the way. The wind howling, the ocean spitting, it is nothing but fierce beauty.

North Point Barbados

Although there is a sandy and often inviting beach, we do not recommend any swimming! The currents are harsh and very unexpected. If the swell is just right the audacious surfers will brave the waters! Its great fun to spy and cheer them on!
