Barefoot on the Beach: Heron Bay Beach

Let's face it, on the West coast of Barbados there are not many quiet beaches; we are not saying it is a bad thing, however sometimes you want or rather need a little peace and relaxation. Well our answer is Heron Bay beach,  just outside of the 26 acre Heron Bay Villa. Lined with white sands and surrounded by turquoise ocean, this beach is one to relax and simply soak up the sun. The waters are crystal clear and sand soft between your toes. To add to its magical presence there is an artist who sits on the sands and paints with oil or acrylic; a diverse assortment of the bay at different light variations.
